The launching gantries are deployed either on top or below the super-structure to carry forward the construction at ease of speed. There are various kinds of launching gantries available, the choice of which depends upon the geometry of site and construction sequence adopted by the designer. Structurally, it can be Built-up Box Girder, Truss or Combination of Both Box & Truss. Depending on the segment being fed, it can be taken down as follows:

Segmental construction for a varied span range from 21m to 60m can be easily done with Launching Girder depending upon the geometry, whether the segment can be fed from ground below or from the casting yard over erection span across any river. With the inception of hinge connection, even the erection of span and movement of launching gantry with sharper curvature (100M) is possible. The segment lifting hoist can be fixed mounted or it can have flexibility for movement as per the requirement of the project.
